FY 2026-Hatch, Hatch Multistate, McIntire-Stennis and Planning Grant
We are pleased to announce the FY26 call for Hatch, Multi-state, and McIntire-Stennis proposals. Similar to last year, we anticipate fewer proposals will be funded than in previous years due to an increase hiring and related start-up packages and a significant rise in graduate student stipends. However, we remain dedicated to providing funding to seed new ideas and advance research projects. To support this goal, we are introducing a new category of proposal types designed for planning larger collaborative projects. These grants will provide essential funding to enable the pursuit of larger collaborative projects that have become increasingly common. Two call for proposals have been released.
Hatch Projects (individual investigator, multidisciplinary, planning grant and multistate)
