    • Server updates mean an outage for this service.This work has been approved by Enrollment Management.
    • For Memorial Union and Union South, this only effects the Union Events Team and not the Unions Hotels.
    • Database maintenance means multiple Production databases and services are impacted. For Databases with multiple instances, patching will happen in a rolling fashion. Nevertheless, loss of user connection is possible during this work.     • **Update, 8/21/26, 10:50 AM**Administrators at the site have reported The network equipment has been temporarily disabled due to flooding in the room.  Outage Description: There is a piece of network equipment down at the Enzyme Institute.  Technologists are aware and investigating. Impact to Users: Some users may be experiencing issues with network connectivity at the site.
    • Outage Description:System Administrators have been informed that a vendor has disabled unauthenticated deposits for their sites with little to no advance notification.     • Outage Description: The 'Subscribe' function on individual Outages is not working. Impact to Users: Users receive an error when trying to subscribe to an Outage on the DoIT Outage page. Workarounds: None.
    • On June 17, we experienced a broken chilled water line, which has significantly reduced the cooling (air conditioning) capacity for our campus. As a result, UW–Madison campus buildings are experiencing higher than normal temperatures and humidity.
