Mike Peters

Michael Peters is the Director of the Agricultural Research Stations. Mike serves as the director for the 11 agricultural research stations across the entire state of Wisconsin where he oversees staffing and budget at each station while ensuring all research and compliance goals are met.  Mike received his BS degree in Dairy Science from UW-Madison in 1995. In 2000, he completed his MS in Dairy Herd Reproductive Management at Michigan State University.  He brings over 15 years of dairy management, administration and compliance background to his position, including prior UW-Madison roles as Dairy Herd Administrator and Assistant Director of the UW Research Animal Resources Center.
