Nicole Miller leads the news team in the planning, development and distribution of content for the college’s eCALS newsletter, news service and other channels. She is responsible for strategic communications, project management and media training efforts that support the college’s priorities.

Marketing Associate Director
Nicole Lederich leads and develops marketing efforts to support the college’s goals related to student recruitment, private philanthropy, outreach efforts and other priorities. She’s in charge of gathering and analyzing the latest market research necessary to promote the college’s stories across a variety of channels.

Web Services Manager
Mark Millard leads CALS Web Services within the Office of External Relations, which collaborates to support and maintain the college’s web presence and web hosting platform. He focuses on areas of UX/UI design, web development, service management, and digital accessibility for college-priority digital projects and websites.

Nik Hawkins

Managing Editor of Publications
Nik Hawkins is the editor of Grow magazine, the CALS life sciences and alumni magazine, and CALS Connection, the college’s e-newsletter for alumni. He also manages and edits a variety of special projects, including development communications, and serves as back-up photographer.
