Nik Hawkins is the editor of Grow magazine, the CALS life sciences and alumni magazine, and CALS Connection, the college’s e-newsletter for alumni. He also manages and edits a variety of special projects, including development communications, and serves as back-up photographer.

Heidi Zoerb

Associate Dean for Strategy and External Relations
Heidi Zoerb oversees the college’s external relations efforts, leads the CALS communications team, works with the UW Foundation to advance the college’s development priorities, and advises the dean on matters related to the college’s public image and relationships with stakeholders.
