Retired UW–Madison employees (i.e., former employees eligible to receive WRS annuities) should retain their UW–Madison identification cards for access to University libraries, recreational and other facilities.
Retirees who wish to continue using the facilities or IT tools, e.g., wisc.edu email, should inform their department prior to their retirement date so a request is submitted to the Office of Human Resources (retiredID@ohr.wisc.edu or 265-2257).
Should your needs change and you no longer require a valid ID card, also please notify your department or the Office of Human Resources.
