    • Web Accessibility demo, activity and discussion: How to make your WordPress page content accessible. Demo and activities will focus on the Gutenberg block editor using the CALS v4 theme, but will be broadly applicable to all web content.
    • Q&A throughout the session

    June 3 Session
When:     Wednesday June 3, 2026 at Noon – 1:00pm CT
Where:    Join the Zoom Web Conference (with UW NetID)

    July 30 Session

The CALS external relations web team will talk about web accessibility in WordPress. Mark Millard, web service manager, will start off the meeting with information about the broader campus web accessibility initiative and various resources. Nate Barlow, web developer, will then demonstrate specific tools and options that can help make your WordPress pages more accessible.

Both sessions will cover the same material, so choose the session that works best for you, or feel free to attend both! We look forward to hosting this session to help our CALS website owners and managers learn more about how to make their website content more accessible in WordPress.

If you have any questions for Mark or Nate ahead of the meeting, please contact us by using our web support form or by emailing us at websupport@cals.wisc.edu.

The online sessions will be held via Zoom. Link and connection details are noted above.
