As a follow-up to our June 2023 web services webinar where we covered some aspects of the new digital accessibility policy at UW-Madison. There have been many exciting developments related to digital accessibility, and accessibility in-general at UW-Madison. Therefore, we wanted to take a moment to highlight this important topic, and direct our site admins and editors to some of the excellent resources, training, guidance and services that are available to help you ensure that your web pages and documents (pdf, word docs, etc.) are accessible.
Also in our fall webinar we are planning to do more of a deep dive into some of the digital accessibility resources and provide tips on how to make your content accessible.

Fall Web Services Webinar – October 26th
Al Nemec and Mark Millard of the CALS Web Services team will host a live webinar focused on the CALS Web Hosting Platform on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm CT.
The webinar is part of the CALS Web Services team’s effort to support WordPress site admins and editors in the college. The upcoming webinar will provide space to share announcements, updates, and training demos related to WordPress, and will allow time for Q&A.
The webinar will be held via Zoom and recorded for those that cannot attend live. Connection details are below.
